I was 11 years old when God started to prepare my heart for compassion for His people.

I was 14 years old when I decided in my heart that I wanted to be a counselor.

I was 19 when I gave my future and career over to God and officially declared a psychology major.

I was 22 when I officially entered the mental health field.

I was 29 when I started this practice, His practice

I am 39 and know exactly what my purpose is:

You read that right. I am the 'steward' of this practice. God is the owner. We go where He goes. We stay where He stays. We love who He loves. We serve who He serves. We strive to see every single soul and person the way that God sees them. As perfectly imperfect and need of healing, tenderness and compassion...because we are too!

We have one mission, and it's the reason that we come to work everyday:

Isaiah 61 says:

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

because Romans 8:1 says, "And if the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside us...."

and 2 Corinthians 3:17 says, "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom"
